Overview
Evacuations fail on roll-call and on people who go back inside. A fire marshal's job is to prevent both, and this award trains the sweep and assembly discipline that does it.
Includes live extinguisher practice, which is assessed rather than demonstrated.
What you study
4 units · 30 notional hours. Hours shown are the notional allocation used for planning and progression.

Fire logbooks, drill records and contributing to a fire risk assessment.
How you are assessed
Practical competence is assessed in person by a qualified assessor against written criteria. No practical competence is assessed online.
