Overview

A supervisor is accountable for what a team does when nobody senior is watching. That accountability is exercised through written instructions, briefings, spot checks and honest reporting to the client.

This is a proposed Level 4 award on the ASIEA qualification ladder, intended as the supervisory destination for experienced Level 3 officers.

Practical competence is assessed in person by a qualified assessor against written criteria. No practical competence is assessed online.

Entry requirements

  • 21 years or older at the start of the programme
  • ASIEA Level 3 Private Security Operations or equivalent competence
  • At least two years of sector experience
  • Confident written English for reports and instructions

Learners receive the ASIEA award and the evidence behind it. External certification is being sought: the units, notional hours and assessment on this page are written so a certification body can map them to its own qualifications.
